I watched this movie about three times over the summer plus read the book. I pretty much know it backwards and forwards now... so I wanted to make a spam of my favorite scenes and quotes. One of the quotes is from the book.

Richie: Otherwise he won't know?

Angelica: What happens when we die?
Virginia: What happens... We return to the place that we came from.
Angelica: I don't remember where I came from.
Virginia: Nor do I.

I'm afraid i can't make it to the party Clarissa.
Clarissa: The party doesn't matter.
Richard: You've been so good to me, Mrs. Dalloway. I love you. I don't think two people could have been happier than we've been.




Laura: It would be wonderful to say you regretted it. It would be easy. But what does it mean? What does it mean to regret when you have no choice? It's what you can bear. There it is. No one's going to forgive me. It was death. I chose life.

gosh I love this movie so hard.. so many perfect scenes and I think you got all my favorites in here.. I think my three favorites are the first scene with the flowers, Virginia taking to the child about death, and Larry talking to Richie about the cake.. so amazing.

Wow, how absolutely gorgeous. This is one of my favourite movies of all time and i think you chose the most beautiful scenes from it here. Nicole Kidman (who fully deserved that Best Actress Oscar for her heart wrenching potrayal) Meryl Streep and Julianne Moore all just blew me away. I love this picspam so much.

Thank you so much! I so agree - even though I don't love Nicole in every movie she does, she was perfect in this one, and completely deserved the Oscar. It makes me a little sad that Meryl and Julianne weren't even nominated though :(

Virginia's last speech always gets me. This is one of my favourite movies. You chose very powerful scenes, what a beautiful picspam. Thanks for sharing ♥
